Expressionists in Munich
Alexej von Jawlensky (1864-1941) and Marianne von Werefkin (1860-1930) were both of Russian heritage, and worked in Germany for a large portion of their lives, belonging to the art movement of the Expressionists. 2019 and 2020 marked a major exhibition dedicated to them both in Munich and in Wiesbaden. Lanzfeld acted as a merchandiser and created a product line that could be used in both museums. A small selection of two works by Jawlensky and von Werefkin formed the basis for all merchandise. Magnets, mouse pads, exercise books, a luxury cotton bag, a glasses case and more products were the result. A diverse selection in a precisely-tuned colour range.
